Alamos Presidente Samuel Borbon
On July 2 , 2024 , Samuel Borbón Lara was sworn in as the newly elected Mayor of Álamos . During the ceremony , honors were rendered to the Mexican flag by the color guard of the 60th Infantry Battalion . Representing the Governor of the State , Dr. Alfonso Durazo , was Dr. Ana Luisa Chávez Haro , Undersecretary of Government , who attended the swearing – in of the new Mayor – elect . In his address , Borbón Lara expressed his best wishes to Mayor Samuel Borbón and his team , and stated that his administration is committed to working with compassion and providing public service based on integrity .
